Apple iPad Mini Review

Nothing is ever set in stone when it comes to the technology world and that is clearly demonstrated by the iPad Mini. Apple went from being a company who suggested that 7" tablets were not worthwhile (DOA in fact) to one which saw other manufacturers succeeding with the same devices.

There is an argument that the 7" form factor tablets from the likes of Google and Amazon don’t eat directly into the iPad sales but it clearly isn’t a risk worth taking for Apple and so today see’s the launch of the iPad Mini. Priced at a more affordable level than the full size model can it offer something to combat sales of similar sized Android devices? We have one to test and find out.

The new iPad arrives in a white box, very similar to the full size model, featuring an image of the product on the top. The sides have additional artwork and lifting off the lid we find the tablet suspended in a cardboard tray above the bundled items. Included with the new iPad is a compact charger, documentation and the USB cable for connection to our system and plug.
