File Copy Tests

Benchmark Results

In the first of our "true" real world tests we have created two file copy scenarios which cover operations which users are likely to perform on a regular basis. We copy a folder of 27GB (game) and then multiple files totalling 1.1GB (Music) as well as a single 4GB item (video) from location to location within the drive, recording the time taken to complete the task. Starting off with the smallest transfer all of the drives perform at a very similar level with OCZ just edging ahead. Our video file once again shows OCZ to perform fastest with a clean sweep observed when we check the 27GB transfer. At that level the OCZ drive is significantly faster than all drives other than the Samsung which falls 4seconds behind.
