Dell XPS 10 Tablet Review (Windows RT / 64GB)When ASUS released their Transformer range in 2011 we found it to offer a great Android experience while adding something the main competitors lacked… the ability to be productive. This was thanks to a keyboard dock which not only doubled battery life but also added connectivity and a decent typing/pointer experience. That said Android still isn’t quite perfect in terms of offering an "office" environment even if it has come a long way in the last year or so. So we know the concept of a tablet with keyboard dock has potential but mobile operating systems are not necessarily the perfect solution. Well, until Windows 8 and Windows RT began offering a different experience with the release of the Microsoft Surface recently. Now Dell are looking to take on the Surface, and existing tablets with the XPS 10 running Windows RT and we have one to test today. |

Packaging and Bundle
Dell stick to their standard XPS box design with this product and the front is therefore pretty plain with some decent detail on the tablet found on the back. Inside we find the tablet and dock wrapped in protective plastic and suspended in foam. Off to the side in a seperate box are the bundled items.
The bundled items are product documentation, mains cable, microUSB to USB convertor, mini-HDMI to HDMI convertor and 30w PSU. |
