Never Settle Reloaded – Level Up. AMD Bundle Performance with XFX
For some time now AMD have been providing a range of key games with their graphics cards under the Never Settle scheme. It has been an impressive program and when they announced a few months ago that the likes of Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite were now included it really did sway the value aspect of their cards in any review. Recently the bundle was tweaked to keep it current… and make it even more impressive with those who bought a 7870 or 7900 series card receiving Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon…all for free.
So with the new "Level Up" addition to the Never Settle Reloaded free game bundle we thought it was worth taking a look at just what performance a consumer can expect from the likes of Crysis 3 on their new 7870 at very high detail or Tomb Raider on the 7970 on Ultimate? Can the 7950 play Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon at 5760×1080? All these questions and more will be answered today as we take 3 cards from XFX through each of the games.
Packaging and Bundle
XFX stick to a familiar box design for their latest 7000 series cards with key information listed all over the box.
Inside we find the cards suspended in cardboard and wrapped in an anti-static bag. In a separate tray we get the product documentation, door hanger, driver CD and CrossFire bridge. Those who get a Black Edition card also receive a case badge.
