ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Graphics Card Review

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780 (Vs. GTX 680 OC and 7970 OC) Review

Yesterday we took one last look at the comparison between a GeForce GTX 680 OC and a Radeon 7970 OC… the two fastest mainstream cards from NVIDIA and AMD… keeping in mind that the expensive GTX Titan is available for enthusiasts with a lot of money to spend on their hardware. The GTX 680 and Radeon 7970 are of course very mature products now and offer some great value for money at this point in their product lifecycles and overall the GeForce came out on top.

GTX Titan is of course noticeably faster than the GTX 680 and there is a big price gap between the two which is ideal for a new product, or maybe two. Today we get the first of those products hitting the market in the form of GTX 780 and we have the ZOTAC branded version on our test bench. We’ll be putting it through a selection of real world tests against overclocked 680 and 7970 cards to see how it does in titles like Crysis 3, Metro:Last Light and GRID 2.

Before we begin though, a quick look at the card itself…
