The MSI GS70 Stealth Laptop Review
MSI are probably best known for their motherboards and graphics cards however for a number of years now they have been creating gaming laptops as well. For a while they were big bulky systems with some rather "unique" lighting. If you wanted flashing orange edge lighting for example, MSI had you covered. Then over the last couple of generations the mobile team over at MSI have started to move towards more slimline, high end chassis for their laptops. The latest model to follow that trend is the GS70 Stealth which MSI claim to be the thinnest and lightest 17" gaming laptop. Even though it contains a 4th gen i7 CPU and GTX 765 GPU. Today we are going to see how it performs in games like StarCraft 2 and Bioshock Infinite as well as general computing tasks.
Packaging and Bundle
MSI package their GS70 Stealth in a reasonably large cardboard box which displays their gaming logo as well as noting a few key features. Inside we find the laptop suspended in cardboard, wrapped in polythene and protected by a harder layer on the lid. Separated off in another box are the bundled extras however with this model, being an early review sample, we simply found the PSU…
This is a reasonably chunky PSU, made by Delta Electronics (ADP-120MH) and it offers 120w of power.
