A few hours ago AMD notified the press that today they would allow publishing of select information on R9 290X performance. That performance was to be a single benchmark, Bioshock Infinite, at 4K resolution (3840×2160) and against the GTX 780.
So… here are AMDs results which they are allowing us to publish. Following them are our own 290X results for Bioshock at 4K which we can use as a comparison to see how close they are. We will also throw in a few screenshots too… but that is your lot for today! NDA approaches but isn’t quite here yet…
