The R6250 arrives in a matt finished box, with a foil band across the bottom, differing slightly from the usual glossy boxes. We have a clear photo of the product on the front with key specification callouts around the sides. Then on the back we have more detailed specifications and information. Inside we have a formed cardboard insert holding our router and bundled equipment.

In the bundle we have a single Cat.5e cable, product documentation and NETGEARs latest revision power supply. Previously a separate power brick has been included with a large cable, this has been reduced to a small form factor transformer and lead.
