Something seems to happen in December… it becomes headset season. In the past few weeks we have seen a plethora of different models all aimed at mainstream and enthusiast gamers who want an audio edge over the competition. One of the headsets in that batch was the G4ME Zero from Sennheiser which Dave Chaos reviewed for us here. As Dave noted this is a quality headset with one of the most impressive mic’s around. Today we take a look at the second of Sennheisers new gaming headsets, the G4ME One which is used by some leading game developers during the creation of their titles.

Packaging and Bundle

For some time Sennheiser had a set design for their gamer series headset packaging and while the internals have remained similar the outside of the box has had a significant refresh. Sennheiser have never been big on bundles and the same can be said of this model. We get the headset and that is it, though a handset adapter is available separately.

So let’s take a look at the headset itself…
