In years gone by the chances of getting a sleek mobile gaming system were… thin. More recently though CPU and GPU design has allowed a lot of flexibility with fewer compromises, resulting in systems like the 11" Alienware M11x and more recently Razers Blade Pro. As cool as the Blade is that system is not even remotely close to being affordable for most people… but what if you could get a near identical system for much, much less? Well enter XMG and their C703 which is the focus of our review today. We will be putting it through a selection of synthetic and real world tests including Call of Duty Ghosts and Assassins Creed 4.

Packaging and Bundle

The C703 arrives in a large cardboard box which displays the brand logo and little else. Inside we find the laptop suspended in cardboard and wrapped in polythene. Separated off in a separate section is the PSU, the only item with our review sample.

This is a large-ish PSU, made by Delta Electronics (ADP-120MH) and it offers 120w of power.
