Microphone Test:

For performance we have to start with the most disappointing aspect, the mic. It’s not a terrible mic but it doesn’t offer great quality. There are headsets with better quality out there however we do like that it is fully removable which means we can use a desktop mic or take the headset out and about without having the mic looking rubbish.

The headset itself does impress though. It is comfortable in longer gaming sessions and produces some detailed audio with plenty of bass (and volume). Aspects such as gunfire and stereo effects are very well created when gaming with voiceovers also clearly created. The sound profile of the headset is a little harsh on music, a common problem on gaming headsets, though it is passable here. On the plus side movie playback was a good experience, similar to the gaming performance.

A well-built headset which offers plenty of connectivity options as well as that travel pouch. Strong performance in gaming and movie audio with a very competitive price.
