Additional components include the option for up to 3 terabytes of storage, two m.2 SSD slots with one PCI-Express connector, up to 32GB of RAM and up to five hours of battery life. The stunning 4K display offers a UltraHD resolution giving gamers more emersion in game. It also features a fully illuminated gaming keyboard and multitouch trackpad. The XMG P505 PRO Gaming laptop is available now from £1099.00.

The P505 excells elegance, a simplistic design and a perfect balance of comfort and mobility in a 15 inch chassis without compromising performance.

“The feedback from our customers helps us understand their needs. This feedback has been the foundation to our P (pro) Series“ said Robert Schenker, founder and CEO of Schenker Technologies. “Firstly, we looked at the best possible mobile technology in terms of performance and efficiency and followed by optimising a cooling solution for such a low profile laptop“

This is one of the first XMG laptops to feature independent dual fans for GPU and processor. Additionally the P505 comes with several fan profiles that can be switched to allow maximun heat dissipation or an ultra quiet mode.

The XMG configurator gives the choice of the Core i7-4710HQ with 6 MB cache and up to 3.50 GHz and the Core i7-4870HQ with up to 3.70 GHz and comes with integrated Intel Iris Pro 5200.

The very best in mobile graphics have been selected with the option of the GeForce GTX 970M with 3GB RAM and the GeForce GTX 980M with 4GB RAM. Both are low-power 28nm GM204 chips with Maxwell architecture and in 3Dmark Fire Strike, performance is up 56% (GTX 980M) and 24% (GTX 970M) compared to the previous top card the GTX 880M. Thanks to NVIDIA battery boost when in battery mode extended gaming sessions are now possible without sacrificing performance and features of the dedicated graphics card. Additional features such as NVIDIA Shadowplay are particularly well suited for lossless recording of game action including Hardware-accelerated video encoding at 60 fps.

The full 4K display from Sharp is based on the classic RGB stripe pattern, the panel thus shows both, photo-realistic 3D scenes aswell as the display of text and 2D graphics without compromising on colour brilliance and image accuracy. Windows 8.1 already offers sufficient functionality for lossless text scaling, windows and 2D-graphics, so that it automatically adapts to high resolution. Both display options (Full-HD and 4K) are based on IPS technology and thus allows a very high view angle. In addition, both panels have a maximum sRGB colour space coverage of 100% making it perfect also for professional iamge editing.

The fully backlit gaming keyboard has been designed with the hardcore gamer in mind ensuring gaming can be still be done late into the night. Thanks to the aluminium chassis with special sound optimised architechture, a certified Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 audio chip and powerful ONKYO speakers, the unit delivers very balanced detailed sound.
