sblive analog/digital out question
Hello
I was trying to put a cheap 5.1 speakers set in my sblive 5.1 (sb0102 5.1 d400). I was able to redirect center/subwoofer (left: center / right: subwoofer) output via the analog/digital out (the orange one), by plugging a standard minijack (not the one specified in the manual). (The above was done tweaking the DSP and the mixer). So, my question is: ¿will the sound card have physical damage by plugging a standard minijack in this orange line out, which according to the manual was designed to be plugged by other minijack? And yes, I know how easy is for you to get a creative inspire speakerset (and avoid this problem/question); but these are hard to get where I live. Ps: sorry for the bad english Thanks for your time |

the orange port works fine with a standard 3 pole jack… the 4th connector is grounded when usign one you will do no damage, as the card was desgined for this
