Rear And Front Speaker Volume

Currently, I am using the HD555 headphones. I have a SoundBlaster Live! Value card. I have my settings set to 2.1 in speaker configuration under Kxmixer. I have the Swap Rear and Front speakers, checked. My problem is that, my rear speakers are louder than my front. But, actually I want my front ones to be louder, so when I play my games, I feel as if louder = to my front. If I uncheck the swap speakers button, I cannot hear a thing. Does anyone know a solution to this dilemma? Should I just go back to using the Creative Drivers for complete surround sound? Such as high, low, behind me, in front, far away, etc...? All feedback is appreciated!

So, what settings do you recommend? I would really like to fix this volume issue, first. However I was told to use the rear outputs. Can you explain that to me?

If you want surround sound you need 5.1 speakers. Otherwise you will only get stereo sound

I think I know.....Did you actually reverse your speaker connections on the card? Sounds like you didn't. Also For future refernce...be CLEARER; You said your using headphones...2.1...5.1?....what do you have....We need to know to be able to giv advice dude....Try what I said IF you actually have 5.1 speakers. or uncheck the swap box....but this gives lower qulity sound...
