The state of Positional Audio?

I was wondering what state positional audio is in with the latest driver 5.10.0.3537 release.

I have read a number of old posts c. 2003 critical of the way the kX drivers handled elevation or the sound of someone behind you?

Has the driver improved to the point where it is viable for gamers who rely heavily on positional audio?

They are meant for gamers....Of course they still function......If you have doubts, Reinstalll..god forbid..creative and see if it sounds better....if it does and your into games then use them. I am listening to them right now...and they are dialed perfect...beutiful soundstage...I get comments from every visitor to the house..
