Sad No subwoofer with SBLive5.1 Under 5.1 mode

I Installed all the drivers & software right. I Have a 5.1 sound system. When I switch to 5.1 mode i dont have sound from the subwoofer and the rear speakers. When a turn 2.1 mode i hear the subwoofer and the front spakers. How I can turn the subwoofer and the rear and the front speakers working together?

OK...You mean you set the ouput plugin in winamp to use KX..instead of Primary sound driver..common issue. Maybe you might want to use Diriectsound output instead it works alot better...you also need to set that one for KX aswell..set it for KX 0/1-thats the surround sound out

Installed KX for the first time today and got the same exact problem. Subwoofer doesn't work. Now I uninstalled the kx drivers and reinstalled my old creative drivers where my soundwoofer worked, and now it doesn't work there either.

Any help?

Usually problems with the sub are always settings....either people don't have the proper speaker set up..e.g their drivers defaulted to 2.0 when they are using a 5.1 system..etc or they do not have enable subwoofer..and bass redirection set properly...hope that helps.

I think my subwoofer is blown. I tried another soundcard and still didn't work. Guess it just happened it blew when I installed Kx. COol eh?

Hope Logitech won't be a bitch about the warranty on these z-640
And i'm looking into buying some z-680 anyways. Any comments on that set?

I thought you said sub worked when set to 2.1 mode?...I hope your not implying that KX blew your sub...I don't think so...Why don't you contact logitech explain your sub is blown...explain you would like to upgarde anyways...maybe they will send you back some 680's if you add some money to the shipment...I heard they have good support..but I have never contacted them..
