Quadro-Sound only working in Mixer
Hello I have a problem with my CT4620 (10k1) using kx-drivers 3537.
Using KX-Mixer I set up the speakers to 4.0 Quadro (aka direct-path), now when I use the test speaker option from kxMixer Front Left, Right, Rear Left and Right are all working correct and separated. I also set up the 0/1 device as default audio device in windows and setup speaker setup of windows to Quad-Speakers. I also set up WinDVD and Media Player Classic to 4 speakers. Now whenever I play multichannel-sound (like DTS-Audio-CD or Movie with 5.1 AC3) it get's only played back on the front channels (as opposed to front + rear), alsthough using kxMixers speaker-test all separate channels work fine. I get the rear speaker signal on the fron channels, however more quiet than the front and center signal. The rear speakers are absolutely silent. I installed kxProject drivers directly over Windows XP SP2's default sb live! drivers (so I have no LiveWare! etc. on my system). |

It works fine, if I use the onBoard realtek 5.1 AC97 card. Ah and I'm using analog out's conencted to 5.1 analog inputs on the surround amp. |

4.0 Quadro Preset (as written above ;-), that is 4.1, Surround: off, Use Subwoofer Output unticked. Reverse Front/Rear disabled.
