My input/mic doesnt work :(

i installed the driver and the sound was working but not my mic. Anyone who might know whats the problem is? because i know my mic is working so it isnt that who is broken.

thx, but it still doesnt work it says: 1. The first step in this window, and that is to unmute the AC-97 input, and to set the level to "0" (Clicking the little arrow on the side will automatically set the level to "0") and i havnt got that little "arrow" it must be the only problem now, i hope why dont i have that?
