CounterStrike Source Audio Problem

I recently got my Altec Lansing 6 speaker sound system and i set my speaker configuration to 6-channel and i did audio tests thru my computer (with Realtek AC97) and it worked even 3D Audio tests haved checked out.

But my problems start with CounterStrike Source.

You see i set the speaker configuration to 5.1 in the audio options in the game then i ran the in game speaker test.......

Well it turns out only two out of the six speakers are producing sound (center and the subwoofer) and none of my Front or Rear speakers are producing any.

But for some strange reason it works for anything else except CS:S.

Is there any solution to this or do i have to live with it............

Any help would be appreciated

KX doesnt do EAX - for more info search these forums - its been discussed several times.
