! Scheduler -> MS VC++ Runtime Error

Hi,

Sometimes under unknown circumstances, in uncertain conditions, the ATI scheduler does not work. Every time you run it, it causes a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library... Runtime Error!"

I have seen this before a few times with previous versions. I have no idea what could be causing it because it is extremely intermittant so I cannot detect what conditions are required to trigger it.

A while back I did a fresh install of all of the ATI software that I normally do. The only difference that time was that I had to reinstall GuidePlus a few times because the listings database they had at the time were corrupt and kept causing GP to crash, requiring it to be reinstalled/repaired. Of course I did not have that GP problem the other times I had this scheduler problem.

Later, I installed it from scratch and it was fine. Stupid intermittent problems, they are the worst.

As expected it has come up again. This makes the scheduler completely useless. Has anyone else seen this problem? Does anyone know a solution?

The error dialog does not help because there is absolutely no information like error codes or anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks but I already spent several more hours checking it out today. I eventually settled on going back to MMC 9.06.01.
