No Signal error with tv player on AIW 2006 Ed.
Hi, I just recently bought a ATI all-in-wonder 2006 edition graphic card. I like the card a lot, but I just seem to have one problem.
When I try to use the TV Player, the screen comes up but I just have static and a NO SIGNAL notification. I have my cable TV coax going trough a 2way splitter and then into the back of my card. I also noticed that my Device Manager lists an unknown device but I can't figure out what it is. Has anybody else had this problem, or do you a have any suggestions for me. Thank you, Knick. |

Which drivers did you install?
Sounds like you're missing the WDM Drivers |

I installed the drivers form the CD and later updated them to the drivers available on the ATI webpage. I can search for available channels and see bits and pieces of station but it will not pick anything up.

Input sources
You have MultiMediaCenter installed? Go to configuration, and in the TV tab you can select your input sources. Do you have only 1 entry in the left window 'Selected Input Sources'?
Move any others to the right 'Unselected Input Sources'. Hope that helps.
