Interesting Info from ATI Tech

I was just on the phone with ATI concerning a problem with my X800XT AIW (gonna have to RMA it)

While talking to him I mentioned (as I have here) that I couldn't get STEREO on the FM, even tho I have a number of starions close to me and that I get good strong signals from them. He seemed suprised, and we think that maybe the card has more than one problem and that the FM problem existed from day 1.

However, the interesting part was that he recommended the CAT 6.2/MMC 9.06.1 combination as the 'best'. He said that there were 'issues' (duh) with the MMc 9.13's, and recommended the 9.06.1's over the 9.08's and the 9.13's.

Just thought I'd pass this on. I plan of installing that combination once I get my AIW back. As it is now I'm back to my 9600XT and I'm already missing the X800

You can get old versions from ATI's website. I just downloaded MMC 9.06.1 to use on my AIW 9600XT.

Anyone know what the first version to support the AiW X800XT was? Was it 9.04?

Hello everyone, my first post here. After using ATI's software I think there will be many more posts. According to the install CD that came with my X800XT AGP it shows ver 9.03.

I won't post any questions until I do a lot of reading and research, but I can't get the MMC or my Remote Wonder II working on either XP MCE SP2 or Vista. Its been the most frustrating computer experience I have ever had. Wish me luck.
