The Final Hurdle - Remote Wonder Drivers

Ok. I finally got my personal video recorder working on my ati AIW 9800 pro after a lot of playing around. I used the lastest CCC (6.5) and MMC 9.03. The capture works fine as long as I use the scheduler the set up record times and not Guide Plus+. Everything is stable and I'd like to leave it as is but I can't get the remote wonder to work. When I use the drivers that came with the remote (ATIRW15, bundled with the MMC8.5 install cd) the remote simply doesn't work. When I try the latest drivers (3.04) from the ati site the remote works fine but every time I try to start up the tv tuner it gives me the error message that mmc has to shut down. Do I need RW drivers that are specific to the MMC 9.03 install? Please help me clear the final hurdle (for now).

Thanks

The RW drivers for that time period were, IIRC, 3.00 so see if you can find that

I couldn't find 3.00, but I found and tried:

RW 2.5 - remote wouldn't work at all

RW 3.01 - same problem with the mmc shutting down when I start up the tv.

I don't want to start all over again but would a different ccc version work?
Any other suggestions?

You could try installing everything off the CD except the display drivers, i.e. install the 6.4/5's whatever minus WDM's then everything else off the CD... I might just do that so I can use the bloody thing

Did you try removing the RW drivers installed right now? That's the issue I had, When I updated the MMC It kept crashing like yours. I tracked it down to the RW drivers..I would try that and see if it helps.
