Hmm.. which TV Tuner?

I kinda like the second one better because it actually uses PCI-E x1, except some reviews say that Audio and Video are out of sync when recording. Is that the card itself, or the programs that are being used? Because if it's the software, I could always get a better program than the one that comes with it.

The one review for the first one says sync is very good. Is it worth the $30 more?

I'll probably get that around next week. I'll wait until finals are over to think about ordering anything. It should run fine with my athlon 64 3000+ and X1800GTO

PCI-E x1 has no advantage other than formfactor if you're out of PCI-32 slots.

But Chaos, have you ever had heating problems with your card? Because that's in all the reviews for the card in newegg

That could be a bad batch or whatever though, because the one at Tiger looks different, and the one in your review is the same thing from Tigerdirect

If there's heat issues those people were watercooling and had no airflow or just had poor airflow period to begin with

Hmm.. in windows media center, it keeps telling me that the decoder has malfunctioned when I try to do Live TV. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled my video card drivers, reinstalled them again with no WDM and installed the WDM drivers that came with the CD, but nothing has worked.

There's a yellow exclamation point next to Multimedia controller and USB receiver though in Device Manager

It tells me no drivers have been loaded for them, even though I've ran the CD

However, I've tried another thing and the drivers installed for the receiver when I pointed it to the CD, but the card still seems like a no-go

Ok, ATI's MMC works fine, but I really wanna use Media Center but it still says decoder malfunctioned or is not installed

any ideas?

None.. it should work if MMC does, MMC usually is the offending party.
