Anyone else having a problem with cat3.1's and refresh rates in 98se?

Mebbe I've lost me touch, maybe Blue is "one tweak over the line"; but I don't think so...I think there is a problem with the refresh rates in these for 98se.

I tried the HKLM/soft/ATI Tech/Drivers/0000/DAL/IDCRegOptionDontUseMonitorInfo from 01 to 00 to no effect, I tried HZtool to no effect, oh and I tried it thru the drivers with no effect.

It won't give me my 85Mhz, it only wants to give me 75Mhz. It'll say "85Mhz" under me adapter, but under my "diplays" and in all me games I'm only getting 75Mhz.

Not a big deal, but I can't use them until I can use it in 85Mhz...it's just too big a difference for me on this old monitor. I went back to the Cat3.0a set where the above regedit works.

Has it moved? Is there a fix? I really want to use these!
