ATI TV Wonder Installation Error

One of my friends recently purchased an ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0 like I had, but when he installs it onto his computer, it gives him this error message

error installing ikernel.exe: (0x10000)

Could anybody help us out with figuring out what to do about it?

Is the Windows Installer service active and functioning correctly?

You could also try downloading the drivers off the site.. it looks like a corrupted installer package which I've had happen before with bad CD's/downloads
