AIW TV capture not working

It started with the whole "tv player will not initailize" and whatnot, but even when i try to go into Windows Movie Maker to capture (which does work) it says first that the card is in use, and then it says "The video device cannot be used at this time because there has been an error when starting the device." I download some other TV program (DScaler) and it says "A device attached to the system is not functioning." I've tried everything i can think of... I've installed and uninstalled and reinstalled many a driver, i've take the card out, took all the software from the card i could find off, and then put it back in and re-installed all the software and it still doesn't work. I just want the video capture to work.

I have a radeon 7500 version of AIW

You used the software on the CD? I think that's pretty much the only thing that'll support that card
