Choppy ATI Multi Media Center

Anyone notice that when you click the button on the remote to open the Multi Media Center (MMC 8.5) that the screens seems way too choppy? Anyone else get annoyed by this?

Yep - the fix is to disable Theater Mode (display/advanced/overlay/clone mode). In fact, disabling Theater Mode seems to cure a lot of the current problems that are TV related. When you need to use it, just reenable it and remember to disable it after. Better yet, save a display profile that has it enabled and assign a hot key to switching back and forth (using ATI's hot key utility).
