Got any capture problems with that AIW or VIVO card? This is the place to ask.

I know Hercules has a fix but not ATI for the following AIW Radeon PAL problem:
The mono channels have much higher volume than the stereo channels and the stereo channels can suddenly (for instance when starting to record a TV channel) change into mono. This problem does not concern drivers over half years old but could someone fix this for instance to make the Hercules fix work with the ATI card? ------- This is not so important but is it possible to capture with MMC straigth to DIVX without audio/video synchronization errors or is this planned to be fixed?

I Know i am posting in the wrong forum but i am desperate, please help me!!!!
I am using a Radeon 64mb DDR ViVo. I'm running Windows Messenger (4.6) under WinXP. The software works, but I can't configure the camera. I'm asked to select a camera, and I select "ATI Rage Theater Video Capture" - my only option. I click "Next" and get the following message: Camera Error: The camera you selected is not working properly, or may be in use by another program. Please click Back to try again, or to select a different camera. While working on this configuration, I'm running nothing even remotely video-related. When I do run the TV tuner, the camera image comes in just fine on Composite. I have tried the Ati Vcr and Virtual Dub capture, they both work fine with the camera i have. Anyone have any Ideas, Thanks!!!

Since I have the Audigy installed, I cannot use the video capture option of my ATi Radeon ViVo. I thought this has to do with the ATi software that can't alter the recording level of the Line in, because all analog inputs of the Audigy are bundled somewhere in the drivers, and later in the mixers splitted again. ATi Video In crashes on initialisation and can only be started when the Audigy is disabled in the Device Manager. Is there a solution for this? I tried the kX Project drivers, but they didn't fix the problem either.
I tried in Windows 98 SE and Windows XP Pro. [edit] This issue had been solved in ATi MultiMedia Center 7.7.0.1, now available on ATi's site for quite a while... [/edit]
