dogin is on a distinguished road

9800 pro AIW resolution feed to TV

Fixed my reverse monitor/TV screen display on start-up. Forced TV recognition and then enabled TV and made adjustment and now the system boots to the monitor like it should (previously it would boot on the TV and then switch to the monitor after boot-up). Got color to TV by adding a S-video booster to the monster 26' cable that said a booster was not necessary (it was!).

My concern now is that the desk top resolution of 1024x768 is being sent to the TV at 60hz. Does the AIW know what the TV can receive without damage?????? Another problem I have is the DVD playback panel comes up on both the monitor and the TV, but the DVD does not show in the player on the TV. Does this indicate a resolution problem???
