yep it does work...

Apparently it doesn't work for everyone. A better solution (if you haven't bought an AIW 9700 already) is the new AIW 9600 that comes natively with dual outputs (plus tv out) in addition to FM radio.

A minor mod to the splitter cable fixes the problem... the AIW9600 is a poor gaming solution if you also want dual display.
