TV Application crashes PC - Reboot
Hi guys!
I have a weird Problem. I bought a new PC: EPOX 8KRA2 Board (VIA KT600) All In Wonder 9000 - Pal Version (built by ati) SoundBlaster Audigy2 Windows XP - SP1 At first my harddrive was connected on the primary IDE channel, but there I could not get it to work with Ultra-DMA, only in PIO Mode. So I put the harddrive on the onboard Highpoint RAID Controller. There the harddrive worked fine. But when I installed the ATI stuff the problems began: At first I tried Cat 3.6 with MMC 8.5. Then Cat 3.5 with MMC 8.5. Then I tried Cat 3.5 with MMC 7.9. But everytime the same thing happens: When I start the TV application for the third or fourth time (at the first time it works well) my system crashes completely!!! Screen goes black, speaker makes "beep" and my computer restarts! Everything else works fine on the pc! I can watch mpeg-2 files with windvd, convert cds to mp3, listen to internet radio and download with kazaa! all at once, no problem! Then I thought it could be an IRQ problem with the RAID Controller and the All-In-Wonder card. But they don't use the same IRQ (as listed in the device manager) and as I can see in the INT-Channel-Table in my motherboards journal the they do not use the same INT-Channel. The graphicscard uses INT-A and the RAID controller uses INT-B! Anyone has any ideas? - Please!?! Chris |
