Aiw Question

Okay i am planning to buy a AIW. but i need to know if AIW can Run both TV mode and TV out mode at the same time. for Example I have a 30inch old derelict TV which can't tune to channels but can watch VCDs and such with the cables. so i thought of a idea to enable my TV to be working properly again by Tuning to the TV channels using a AIW and TV-out it to my TV. I hope this doesn't stump any of u guys out there i really need to know if it can work or not.

The answer to your question is yes. It works great that way but I havn't learned how to use the remote wonder yet. The only problem is that you won't be able to use the computer for other tasks while watching tv since the tv just mirrors what is on the computer screen.

That depends on which model AIW you have.
My 9700 for instance can have two seperate displays, as if I had two monitors.
I think those VPU's with dual integrated RAMDAC's can do this (9800, 9700, 9600 I think)
