exclamation ATI All In Wonder 7500 TV Tuner Audio Crossbar Issue

I have been battling my ATI All In Wonder 7500 and TV Wonder for MONTHS now... and of course, the SPECTACUALR "Customer Care" department at ATI can, without fail, bill me for incident supprt but, with unsurpassed failure, resolve the issue I am having:

I have Windows XP Pro on an Intel D845WN Motherboard, P4 2.4 GhZ Processor with a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Audio Card.

EVERY time I try to install the ATI Software from the brilliant minds at ATI or the (and this part is not sarcasm) modified drivers folks here have provided, I still have a yellow bang on the TV Audio Crossbar in the device manager. I am willing to concede I am doing more than one thing wrong here if not everything (including posting in the wrong area- if so, I apologize).

I dersperately want this issue resolved so I can move on with my loathing of ATT and their lack luster supprt until I can get a newer system somtime later in the new year. ANY help anyone can offer will be GREATLY appreciated.

Donator
Check your mobo BIOS

Insure AGP Aperture is equal or greater than the memory on your card

Insure that the First display adapter is the one where your ATI card is (AGP or PCI)

Move your SoundBlaster to a different slot.

If you end up rebuilding, consider your choice in the BIOS foer PnP OS=Yes or No....if Yes, you end up sharing IRQs. If no, you have to juggle IRQs and may find some conflicts you need to resolve, but without the sharing, you may lessen some conflicts.

You can try the BIOS "Reset Configuration Data" selection and let Windows reallocate all the resources on a reboot. (BE SURE TO BACK UP ANYTHING IMPORTANT BEFORE DOING THIS AS YOU MAY END UP WITH A PC THAT WILL NOT BOOT WITHOUT EXTENSIVE TWEAKING....STILL THIS IS USEFUL FOR SORTING OUT WEIRD CONFLICTS)

Use the latest ATI Catalyst/MMC drivers.
