Hello,
I have a Connect 3D 9800 Pro 128MB. I am trying to get TV-OUT working on to my 28" Proline TV (its not a wide screen) I am connecting it with a yellow cable that plugs in the front of my TV. Think its called the composite cable. Now i do have a picture on my TV ![]() In windows you carnt read anything, TV quailty is very poor. Why ? Also the screen on TV does not fit right, its just to bigger picture for the TV size. Why ? Also when i try to watch a video it wont display on the TV. Why ? Cheers lads

Re: Setting up TV-OUT...

Here are some possible answers to your questions: 1. The composite connection is not going to produce a high quality image. Text is going to be the most difficult to deal with. 2. When you turn on the TV Out in the control panel, make sure you have also selected it to use the secondary adapter. THEN ALSO make sure you have your main Desktop setting at 1024x768 or below. (That is, IF your TV OUT feature supports up to 1024x768. Otherwise, you're getting what's called a 'virtual screen'. The image will move around on the screen as you move your mouse from edge to edge, right?) 3. If you're trying to watch a DVD movie, or similarly formatted movie, you likely won't get an image unless you use an S-VIDEO IN connection on the TV. That's a Macrovision issue. Hope this helps. |
