Text-tv on AiW

Hi'

I got a Sapphire 9800SE AiW and have been using the tvtuner part for a couple of days now. But I can't seem too find the function for text-tv on the tv-software from MMC?
Not that I've been told it should be there, it's just an assumption. Am I wrong?

Best regard

What you are asking about is called captions.

While the TV is running on your screen, hold the mouse cursor over the icons on the the control bar below the video screen - one of them should look like a square and should toggle the captions on and off...

Also, the caption settings can be changed while the TV is running by opening the settings within the TV application and looking over the various tabs, one is likely labelled Closed Captions (depending on your MMC version).

Thank you for the answer swimtech, but I made a mistake translating from Danish. The thing I was asking about is the Teletext function. I thought I was called text-tv as it is in Danish... Sorry

Well, I've been looking around on ATi and found some help there... But I haven't been at home just yet to try it out so I will return if the problem still percist after I've tried it out.

Thanks again anyway

Sorry for my misunderstanding, hope you get it worked out...

Noticed the feature is available only in Europe and only in the latest versions of the MMC, again, hope you get it worked out...

The user manual for MMC 9.0 is online at ATI.

http://www.ati.com/support/manualpdf...x=9&submit.y=8

To start Teletext
While TV is running, click the Teletext button in the
control panel. You can also right-click the Teletext
button and then click the Teletext Browser to display Teletext in
its own window.
