TV Wonder Pro Sound Problem

Hey all just bought an ATI TV wonder Pro and it makes a weird sound when changing the channels. Using ATI's MMC 9.1 (tried 8.2 same results), Win XP, Audigy 2 (latest drivers), DX9b, 9800 Pro with Cat 4.6's.

The TV card is connected to my line in on the sound card but it still makes this popping/hissing sound (when changing channels) if I connect my speakers directly to the line out.

I might be expecting too much (muting the sound automatically when changing channels like on a regular TV). Is there a problem with my card or is it ATI's software? Any ideas?
