??? Will an original TVWonder work with MultiView?

We have a very old original ATI TVWonder PCI (not the pro, nor the VE) that is functioning nicely in an old P3 733.

Will this card work with the MultiView function of the AIW 9800pro? We'd like to be sure before we put it with the AIW 9800pro rig.

....and also.....Which "TVWonder-series" card should we get to have the best integration and functionality of the MultiView feature? We see about 6 different varieties of "TVWonder" at NewEgg, which one is best for an AIW 9800pro and MultiView?

if it has the Rage Theater chip, I think it will work. as for the "best", I'd get any one with a stereo tuner, namely the PRO (the only current cards are the PRO, VE, and USB and possible "remote control" bundled versions)

My brother says it has all the same stuff on it that the version currently being called "Pro" has, so maybe it will. He got it a couple of years ago.

Is the Rage Theater chip vital for the Multiview to work? (I'm not 100% sure that this particular TVWonder actually has that chip......fairly sure, but not 100% )

At any rate, that's something to take a look at on the card.....

Thanks for the reply.

That TV Wonder card should definitely work.
It's mentioned in this PDF: http://www.ati.com/support/manualpdf/MulTView.pdf

Excellent, thanks. I'll show this to my bro.

Now he wants to know if he can still access all the inputs and outputs on the card when it's hooked up that way.
