Best way to activate TV-Out on AIW cards
I was wondering how all of you do it?!
Do you switch TV-Out on/off manually, do you have hotkeys configured to switch around displays? Do you clone your display (what good is that anyways?)? Do you change resolutions? Do you use the default display drivers or some modified ones or other tools? How happy are you with the TV-Out quality? (e.g. is your TV filled to the edges, is the picture clear/blurred whatever?) I use the 4.7 Omega driver; always switch from 1280x1024 desktop res. to 1024x768 and then activate TV-Out in the display properties/advanced/display... just recently I configured hotkeys so now I can activate it with my remote wonder ; I have PAL B (germany) and the TV-Out picture has 2 slim black stripes on top and bottom of the picture, when I activate the overscan option , I have one big black stripe at the bottom of the picture... quality is ok, I guess..Is there a better way of doing this?

Re: Best way to activate TV-Out on AIW cards
I haven't used TV-out in ages, but I was planning on recoding some stuff to VCR soon.
There should be some adjustments you can make in the Displays tab of the control panel, if you click on the TV bar. I remember the last time I tried it, I could never get it quite "perfect", but that's to be expected when converting an digital graphics to analog video. That was on an AIW Radeon 32MB, which could only mirror, and I had to change my desktop res to 800x600, the highest the TV-out supported.
