TV-OUT not working

I just bought A Hercules 3d Prophet FDX 8500LE 64MB graphics card. For some reason the tv-out feature isn't working at all. The TV button under advanced/display is greyed all the time even when I have s-video cable connected to my tv and the channel is set to AV input. The problem is the same with WinME and Win2k, no difference. I've tried using all kinds of driver/control panel combinations but the problem stays. Can anobody help me? The tv-out feature is the main reason why I bought the damn card... My system is:
MSI K7T Pro-2a
Hercules 3d Prophet FDX 8500LE 64MB / Omega 2.4.66 drivers
3COM EtherLink XL 905-c
AMD HomePNA adapter
SB128 PCI
Windows Millennium and Windows 2000 SP1
