Hi guys! I'm pretty much a total newbie on these boards, but I've been running my TV Wonder PCI for about 4 1/2 years now. I'm getting very sick of ATI MMC and the zillions of associated problems, and am thinking of switching to DScaler. I've got two questions, though:
1. I've heard that running DScaler and a TV Wonder under NTSC gives no audio. Is this true? Is there a workaround? I'm running the KX Project drivers on a Soundblater Live 5.1, and right now MMC doesn't process audio but I still have sound from setting up the KX mixer to take input from Line In. Would this also work with DScaler, or does DScaler just plain not output any audio with a TV Wonder?
2. If I run DScaler, can I still use my GuidePlus software or something simliar? Seeing each show's title as I flip to the channel is *really* convenient, and the program guide is nice too. As the one person whose GuidePlus software actually works I feel like it'd be a shame to toss it aside
