Abit 9600XT VIO capture
I have a problem when I wanna make a capture from a analogic video camera Sony ( 8mm ), using a video card Abit Radeon 9600XT 256M VIO. Sometimes with one of tapes, I see some video distortion but if I use the same video recorder to play that part of video on TV .. it doesn't see it.
It doesn't make this distorsion all the time, only in some parts of video and only with some of my tapes. Thanx a lot. |

I try it with 3 cables: 1-2. Abit original RCA video and S-Video cable, 3. Normal RCA video cable.

Are you sure you plugged them all into the right port?
This problem is really odd....would it be possible to test the card in another PC? |

Like I said before, that distorted capture image appears only in some parts of a video. I make it a capture from another tape and was all good without any distortion.

I can only suggest CPU spikes...but with a proc that fast I don't know how likely that is
