x600ro w/ ace runtime error
I have a dell 8400 media center upgraded to x600pro PCI X, hauppaugge 500 dual tuner , sound blaster aud. 2 zs plat. with e-home wonder. have tried for 6 months to get this card to work fixed alot of prob. but cannot get cat. control center in any version to work. when I click on ccc I get nothing if I try to start the wizard I get "ACE RUNTIME ERROR" my system has intel p4 with 3-GHZ 1G RAM. Wanted to upgrade from X300se and the kid at compusa said this would be perfect needless o say I obviosly didnt need another tv in-out kind of card. Think he wanted to get the card off his shelf. any sugg.

Uninstall the 1.1 .net you useing now..... asumeing you have it loaded
if you don't that was your problem I would reccomend you try the .net 2.0 beta 2 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Make sure you've got all your windows updates from windowsupdate If you've messed with (like disableing) any of the default services you need to renable what you disabled. If your useing a really old windows install, like 6+ mo old, then you might consider formating an reinstalling windows.
