Enabling Sound with ATI TV Wonder

Hi,
Well I was able to get ATI TV Wonder installed on my windows 2003 machine. Using a 3rd party software, I can get video without any problems but no sound I heard I have to enable the sound through the official ATI Multimedia Centre software which sadly doesn't want to work.
Is there any way to get around this or somehow get the multimedia centre to work? The sound is hooked up properly to my sound card. I just need to somehow enable it on the card.

Thanks~

Try using Windows XP is one way.

Also it could be that it needs the analog pass through connected to your sound card.

I can't use windows xp as I'm actually some features only found in windows 2003. This card used to work with Windows XP without any probs so the card is fine. The audio is connected as well as I used to get audio in Windows XP. But since the Multimedia Centre refuses to work (Unable to start TV), the sound just doesn't work in 3rd party applications.

yes exactly. I was wondering if there's any way to get that multimedia center working in windows 2003 or enabling the sound on the card some other way.

Hmm... I'm not sure TBH but you could get in touch with ATI and see if Win 2k3 is a supported O/S

Windows 2003 is not supported at all I hate how ATI made it this way. Why not just enable sound on the card right away. Why require your own software that doesn't even work properly half the time to enable sound. Oh well, I emailed them anyways. They'll probably just respond by saying Windows 2003 isn't supported and that they don't care heh.

Well, you could dual boot XP and 2003. That would allow you to use XP for these kind of things and W2k3 for when you need it
