Help with All In Wonder 9800
I had been running a previous version of the Omega drivers for my 9800 but never had a cable for TV hook up near my computer.
My new house now has this connection so I decided to update my drivers for the card and hook up the cable so I could watch TV on the PC. When I updated the newest Omega drivers I could no longer launch CoH or CoV. I kept getting errors concerning "no AGP supported". I also was getting "no TV tuner" when I went to go view TV. When I checked the drivers the system had loaded "microsoft" drivers for the card, which I have no idea why they were there, I didn't install them. I tried to install the Omega drivers again and it didn't work, when I rebooted the same drivers were loaded. I uninstalled all the devices related to my ATI card (including the ones down in the Sound, video and game controller section of the Device Manager). When I rebooted, XP decided it knew what was best for me and it loaded the Microsoft drivers again for the ATI card. I've tried to uninstall these drivers with no luck. I also pulled out my old ATI CD that came with the card and this didn't work either. None of the drivers I wanted are being loaded and none of the "TV" related software will work. Even the ATI console won't load because it is telling me that no drivers for the device/no device is found. I'm assuming that since the wrong drivers are loaded my card can't display TV and that is why when I load City of Heroes/Villains I get all these "draw/AGP/support" issues. Does anybody know what I need to do so that I could get my system back up with the Omega Drivers and so that my All In Wonder card can view TV? Thanks, Patrick |

You should try doign what you did except after uninstalling everything reboot into safemode and run Driver Cleaner with all the ATI Filters and the cab cleaner. Make sure to uninstall ALL ATI related stuff. Then install fresh from whatever version you want
