9700 AIW Pro ----- please help
THE SPECS:
athlon xp 2500+ Asus A7N8X Deluxe 350 watt psu 2 512 ddr sticks 2 seagate barracuda 120 sata raid 0 ATI AIW 9700 Pro 128 THE PROBLEM: Smartgart is not enabling AGP I updated the new omega drivers to 2675a after following the intsructions on how to uniinstal the old. I have retested the agp settings a half dozen times or so. I went to advanced settings and AGP was off so i set to on. After rebooting it was back on off. I tried turning PCI off thinkng that maybe b/c both cant be on at the same time, rebooted with a test and now both are off. What is my porblem and how do i fix it? Thank you also do i install omega before wdm drivers?

Do you suffer from game lag when using the card for games?
If so its just a stupid error |

Happens sometimes...
Try reinstalling your motherboard chipset drivers.

I am getting lag in World of Warcraft, the only game i play. I have lowered the video settings and dont get very much lag if any.
My thoughts is that my psu is underpowered. Also there is a unknown PCI device in device manager. But i dont have anything in any of the PCI slots bMaybe that has something to do with it. Thanks again for the suggestions

If you had an underpower PSU you'd get crashes first.
And are you sure you installed ALL your devices? An unknown PCI device could be for something on your mobo or somesuch.... Have you reformatted recently? |
