atisched.exe

I got around the problem, aparently it happens only when in guid plus there is a symbol like / or.
You can get around this by going to schedual and hitting the record the ati schedualer then works.

Send ATI an email or contact them with feedback at their site with your solution - I'm sure they'll appreciate it too!

ATI Scheduler Problem (atisched.exe)

ATI actually addresses this issue, however, their fix is over-kill. Their tech support kinda sucks if you ask me and their software really stinks to high hell. That's probably why I have somewhat of an attitude when dealing with them.

Here's what I sent them:

ATI Scheduler Information Details: In your trouble-shooting recommendation for the atisched.exe crashing in the MMC software, you correctly identified the problem as being a "/" in the event name, however, your document does not go into enough detail on where the slash is located, or on how to rectify this problem without deleting all of your scheduled programs.

The "/" only shows up on step 2 of the scheduling wizard, and normally only happens when you use Guide Plus to AUTOMATICALLY schedule an event to record (right-click the event and choose record). You of course will experience this problem if you manually insert a slash at this point during a manual sheduling of an event.

Your recommended solution is over-kill. If you remove the slash from the event name in step 2 of the scheduling wizard for the event that contains the slash, this solves the crashing issue. There is no need to delete all of your scheduled events as you suggest in your solution.

Please update your tech sheet.
