AIW Performance Loss and Problems Help

Ok, here is the deal, I have an AIW 9600 128mb card, and when i first got it, totally new, i could run Doom 3, Half life 2 and pretty much anything perfectly.
But now i when i play games like Warcraft 3 or world of warcraft i get constant lag, and i have to put WoW on the lowest settings.

Also when i get ready to install new drivers, it usually takes like 2 days to get everthing working correctly. I use driver cleaner, and install everthing in the correct order and when it reboots it finds the WDM drivers, or at least trys too, then the screen gets all distorted and messed up then finally gives me a blue screen of death. After this i have to go tweak everything stable enough to get to do anything on my computer.

I have had this Problem since i installed new drivers the first time, and its a pain in the...neck. Ive searched countless sites and forums, but i havent found an answer that would fix it.

Please if anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Ohh and here are my specs

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.1g
120gb SATA drive
Albatron K8X800 PRO mobo
1gb RAM
Window XP Home w/ sp2

Also i noticed a lot of these problems happened after i installed service pack 2,

using the MMC and AIW specific drivers as well?

Cause if your using the latest (the last 3 builds for example), they've caused nothing but headaches/problems/hardlocks/BSODs the works to my 9600XT AIW.

Although your doom 3 and everything should work properly. It's the TV portion that i'm concerned about

Are you having troubles running the games, or are you having troubles with the AIW portion of the video card?

well, im having performance loss in my games, i dont fiddle with the AIW side of the video card that much anymore, and when i did there were no problems with the AIW stuff

i also usually dont install all the AIW software because i dont use it

makes sence then.... not sure what the deal is.... but perhaps something is actually wrong with the card now...

hmmm...

you should post in the radeon hardware forum... as since your only using the video graphics portion of the card... the AIW portion isn't being used and you'll get more support in the hardware forum
