ATI MMC has taken over all file types. help....
I seem to have figured pretty much everything out except DVD Movies.
I have the DVD drive set to autostart in windows. Right up until I installed the ATI MMC DVD Player, windows popped up the dialog that asked which application I would like to use to play the DVD. Now the ATI player just starts by itself. I have Tweak UI installed, I have looked in the folder options tab in the control panel, I have accessed the ATI MMC and changed the MPEG association to Windows Media Player (not that I want to watch movies with WMP, but I am trying to force ATI MMC to let go). The issue persists. I am actually not thrilled with the ATI player's soft and grainy DVD playback. Windows Media Player classic is better and I think that VideoLan is too. Please help... |

Simple.
1. Go to Windows Media Player. 2. Go to Options 3. Find file assosciations. 4. Associate with all the file types. 5. Enjoy Pisses me off too that it does that by default |
