This monitor requires a native resolution of 1680 x 1050. Does anyone know if this card supports that?

If the driver does it will too.... goes from 320x160 to 2048x1536 or somesuch...so you should be ok

You thought correct.
So long as it goes up to a certain maximum, theoretically, anything inbetween is possible. |

Try "accidentally" putting a 2 in the quantity box and see if he doesn't notice. Then just make sure you're there for the delivery and take one home with you.
